i didn't make it out tonight...
but i did watch "the breakfast club" and play some guitar.
walked the trail at eagle creek today. headed up to multnomah falls, but it was too crowded and there was nowhere to park, so i went to the next attraction on the highway. eagle creek. ben was with me. ben is a graphic artist. i would tell you about his new idea but it hasn't been copyrighted yet. the world could possibly change as a result of it; or maybe not--only time will tell.
the trail was thin, the sights were beautiful, and it was a good day for a hike. well, not for this guy. his fall was an eerie thing to be around and we were helpless to do anything more than look on and hope he was ok. i didn't see him fall, but i saw where he fell from. he was lucky not to have died... poor guy.
the talk of the trail. so it goes (thank you Mr. Vonnegut).
gas is expensive. ten dollars brought me from the gas light being on to less than a quarter of a tank. yikes.
Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. died last week. he left a great legacy, in his books, which he shared with the rest of us, and in his personal life--which he shared with the rest of us. there've been some good tributes written about him.
i saw an amazing interview between bill moyers and jon stewart on opb. ...
yah, g'night.
